Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Spritz Technologies LLC ("Spritz," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, book a call with us, or use Spritz products and services, including any third-party integrations, such as Google, that you choose to connect.

Scope Information we collect Our role: controller & processor Connected accounts & integrations How we use information How we share information Retention and deletion Your choices Security Contact

1. Scope

Spritz is a project coordination service provided by Spritz Technologies LLC. Our services help teams keep a shared record of a project current: which partners are at which step, what was agreed, what is owed, and what needs a decision, drawn from the email threads, channels, forms, files, and trackers a team chooses to share.

This policy applies to the Spritz website at getspritz.ai, our marketing communications, and Spritz applications or integrations that link to this policy. It does not apply to third-party websites, vendors, partners, platforms, or services that we do not control.

Spritz Technologies LLC is based in the United States, and Spritz is currently offered to customers in the United States. If you use Spritz from another country, your information will be processed in the United States as described in Section 11. If your organization has requirements under local data protection law, contact us at hello@getspritz.ai and we will tell you whether Spritz can meet them.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you give us directly, such as your name, email address, company, role, messages, support requests, feedback, and other communications.

Project information

If you use Spritz, you may provide project descriptions, briefs, budgets, goals, timelines, trackers and spreadsheets, document templates, partner and vendor details, contracts and forms, notes, files, comments, approvals, and other information you choose to upload, forward, connect, or create in the service.

Account and integration information

If you create an account or connect an integration, we may collect account identifiers, authentication metadata, permissions you grant, integration settings, and technical information needed to operate the connection.

Website and usage information

We may collect device, browser, IP address, referral, page-view, interaction, diagnostic, and similar usage information, including the campaign or link that brought you to the site. We use hosting and analytics providers to run the website and understand how it is used. If you accept in the privacy notice on our website, our analytics provider may also store a cookie or similar identifier in your browser and record how you interact with the page. If you decline, the site still counts your visit, but nothing is stored in your browser.

Visitor identification

If you accept in the privacy notice, we use a visitor identification service on our website. That service uses your IP address, device and browser information, and identifiers stored in your browser, matched against its own databases and those of its partners, to tell us the company you may work for and, for some visitors in the United States, your name, job title, business email address, or professional profile. We use this information for one purpose: to decide whether to contact you, by email or LinkedIn, about Spritz. We do not use it for advertising. You can decline this in the notice, change your choice later through the "Privacy choices" link at the bottom of every page, or ask us to delete anything we have identified about you by emailing hello@getspritz.ai.

When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting app.retention.com/optout. The cookies this service sets have names beginning with "_reb2b" and last from a few seconds to one year; our analytics provider's browser storage has names beginning with "ph_".

3. Our role: controller and processor

When you give us information directly, such as your name, email, or the details you share on a call, we act as the controller of that information and decide how it's used, as described in this policy.

When you or your organization upload information about other people into Spritz, such as partner or creator contacts, vendor details, or client details in a project brief, we act as a processor on your behalf. In that case, you (or your organization) determine why that information is collected and how it may be used, and we process it only to provide the Spritz service, following your instructions. You are responsible for having the right to share that information with us and for meeting any obligations you owe to the people it identifies.

4. Connected accounts and third-party integrations

If you choose to connect a third-party account or service, Spritz will request only the access (scopes) needed for the feature you are using. The provider's authorization or consent screen will identify the categories of data requested before you authorize access.

Depending on the Spritz features you enable, connected data may include basic profile information, email address, files you select, messages in the threads or channels you choose to watch, calendar events for meetings you connect to a project, or other data that you explicitly authorize for a user-facing Spritz feature.

You can revoke Spritz's access to a connected account through that provider's account permissions or, where available, through Spritz account settings. Revoking access may limit or disable features that depend on that connection.

Google user data and the Google API Services User Data Policy

If you connect a Google account, Spritz's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve visible user-facing Spritz features, maintain security, troubleshoot, comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by that policy and by your consent.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, credit-worthiness, lending, or any unrelated purpose. We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you ask us to, we need to do so for security or abuse investigation, it is necessary to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable law.

Connected inboxes and channels (Gmail, Outlook, Slack)

If you connect an inbox or channel, Spritz uses it for one purpose: keeping your project record current. Reading is scoped to the projects you choose. To suggest which threads belong to a project, Spritz may search message metadata in the connected inbox (sender, subject, and date) for the project's partners and name. It does not read message content until you or a teammate confirm that a thread or channel should be watched. From watched threads and channels, Spritz stores the messages, extracts project facts from them (for example a signed contract, an agreed rate, a delivery date), and files those facts against the right partner and step with a note of where each fact came from. Changes to money, dates, contract status, and similar high-impact facts are shown as proposals for a person to accept or dismiss.

Message content from a connected inbox is visible in Spritz only to the person who connected it. Teammates see the extracted facts, credited to that person, not the messages. Spritz does not send messages without a person reviewing and approving each one; where sending is available, messages go from your own connected address at your direction.

Inbox connections may be made through a specialized connection provider acting as our service provider. Message content passes through that provider on its way to Spritz, and the provider may use it only to provide the connection. Access credentials are stored encrypted, by us or by that provider, and are never exposed to your browser or to other users. AI models are used only to read and summarize the threads you have chosen to watch as part of this user-facing feature, and Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. You can disconnect an inbox or channel at any time from your Spritz settings, which removes the stored credential and stops further reading, or revoke access from your Google account permissions or the equivalent Microsoft or Slack settings. Facts already filed in a project record stay there until you or your organization delete them.

5. How we use information

We use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve Spritz; provide product communications; create and manage accounts; maintain project records, workflows, status views, and prepared documents; personalize your experience; respond to requests; analyze service performance; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

Spritz may use AI service providers to process prompts, project details, uploaded files, and other content so the product can generate outputs for you. We design these workflows to use the information needed for the requested feature and to apply contractual, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate to the data involved.

How we use AI in our product

Spritz uses AI to read the threads and documents you share, draw a workflow from your description, extract and organize project facts, prepare documents from your templates, and answer questions from the project record. These outputs are meant to support your decision-making, not replace it. You and your team review, edit, and approve any prepared documents, status changes, or communications before they are finalized or acted on. Spritz does not make final decisions or send messages without a person approving them.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising, including for cross-context behavioral advertising. Some state laws treat the use of a visitor identification service on a website, described in Section 2, as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out of it at any time, as described in Section 8.

We may share information with service providers that host, secure, analyze, support, or help operate Spritz; with collaborators or workspace members you invite; with partners, vendors, agencies, or clients when you direct us to share information or when sharing is necessary for a feature you choose to use; with professional advisors; with authorities or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or security; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

When you share a project status page, prepared document, or other information with partners, vendors, clients, or teammates through Spritz, you are responsible for confirming what information should be shared and for obtaining any permissions needed from the people whose information you provide.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Spritz, maintain business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. In general, account information is kept while your account is active; project information, including content from watched threads and channels, is kept while the project exists in your workspace; and website usage information is kept for a limited period for analytics and security. Retention may be longer where legal requirements or operational needs call for it.

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, backup integrity, legal compliance, and legitimate business records.

8. Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or contacting us. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable law gives you those rights.

California residents: Depending on applicable thresholds, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for advertising. To the extent the visitor identification service described in Section 2 counts as a sale or sharing under your state's law, you can opt out by choosing "Decline" in the privacy notice on our website or through the "Privacy choices" link at the bottom of every page. To exercise any of these rights, or to opt out by email, contact us at hello@getspritz.ai.

Cookies and tracking choices

When you first visit our website, a notice asks whether you accept cookies for analytics and visitor identification. If you accept, our analytics provider stores an identifier in your browser and may record how you interact with the page, and the visitor identification service described in Section 2 runs. If you decline, our analytics provider counts your visit without storing anything in your browser, and the visitor identification service does not run. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time through the "Privacy choices" link at the bottom of every page. We do not use advertising cookies and do not allow anyone to build a profile of your activity across other websites for advertising. Because there is no common standard for them, we do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals; we do honor the choice you make in our notice. If you block cookies or similar technologies in your browser, parts of the site or service may not work as intended.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Spritz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Spritz, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

11. International users

Spritz Technologies LLC is based in the United States. If you use Spritz from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the date above or providing additional notice in the service. If we materially change how we use Google user data, we will provide notice and obtain any consent required by Google's policies or applicable law before using that data in a new way.

13. Contact us
